Di has been commissioned by a wide range of clients including universities, charities and several UN agencies, such as Unicef and Oxfam International for which she produced Trade Talking 6x5' short films on the impacts of international trade rules, broadcast in six countries and on-line. Other films include Working Together for domestic migrants in the UK for Kalayaan and Parallel Lives on attitudes to masculinity and sexual health among South African and Scottish teenagers for Interact Worldwide (now Plan). 

Di works flexibly and inclusively with clients throughout the development and production process to deliver content to brief and within budget.

    1x30 documentary on local community water management in South Africa and the zero tolerance stance from the country's water police, The Blue Scorpions, on overuse of the resource by farmers and industry.

  • Producer: A Serious Business
    One of seven short films on the challenges and solutions for water and sanitation provision in low income areas in large African cities. The series was filmed in Lusaka, Maputo and Atananaviro.

    1x20 documentary on child marriage and education in Niger. Produced in Hausa and French with English subtitles, Commissioned by unicef Niger for broadcast on ORTN and distribution via mobile cinema.

  • Producer|Director: Parallel Lives
    1x 15' educational programme for schools on sex, relationships, gender and peer pressure. The film follows 21 year old South African Mncedesi with friends in his home town of Soweto and as he travels to Edinburgh to find out if young people there face the same dilemmas.

  • Executive Producer: Trade Talking Indonesia
    6x5' character-led series shot in Indonesia, Philippines, India, Zambia, Kenya and Brazil. The series focuses on the imminent 2006 Doha round of the World Trade Organisation talks and their potential disastrous impact on the economies of the developing countries. Broadcast in all six countries and web streamed before the WTO Doha talks.
